02-June-2026 0400 Apologies In Order.
One of the comments chatGPT gave was, "I think 2026 Mike would probably write the same article with a little less prosecutor and a little more pastor."
This continues to be a struggle for me as my temperament leans towards being prophetic naturally as my pastor on Guam shared recently, "Honestly, you don't have the temperament for a pastor. "Prophet?" Dead on."…
"Truth; Black & White/Right & Wrong. No wiggle room. That is the prophet's motivation." I can't apologize for what I believed was true, but I can acknowledge that the brusque and direct style in which I sometimes shared it could have been more pastoral and more gracious.

Vocationally, I was an Engineering Technician, which my temperament fit quite well. See a problem, address problem, solve problem, and do it in the most expeditious and efficient way possible. This is great for equipment…
Not so much for fellow believers. And, doubly so when you are a new-comer and not recognized as staff or a credentialed minister.
30-May-2026 0600 Been chatting with chatGPT.
Oh if I could only sit down and have these discussions with a fellow believer. I get great discussions,
some questions and even corrections. There is a give and take while points are clarified.
So, I had started dipping back in time and grabbing old articles, making a few changes and reposting them on the site.
Overall my underlying thoughts haven't change much. But, how they are presented can be improved, made less black & white,
less harsh and with better clarification.
For that chatGPT is a great confidant, commentor and challenger. This morning we went through my Tithing article and
one not yet posted on Unconditional Forgiveness. In which there will be several 'green' (chatGPT comments) edits and even
'blue' edits (my own changes in 2026).
But, again I miss the fellowship of believers, the "Iron sharpens Iron". But, it seems that I, in the past held
things so tightly that any sense of questioning caused a negative and protective response. Usually I was not alone in that.
Why is it that we humans are so sensitive to anything that appears as a lack of acceptance and, try to force everyone
to use the exact same words in the exact same order or, we act like they can't possibly be a Real Christian.
I know I need to work on that even more so.
27-May-2026 0700 Site
move is complete.
The site move to DreamHost has
been completed. Emails reestablished and work continues.
25-May-2026 0530 Site is moving.
I am moving the site to another host. I am getting 4 Years for less than the price of two at the new host. Nothing wrong with the old host,
just more expensive and pushing processes and services a hand-coded static site like mine doesn't need.
Well, there goes that train of thought, such as it was. Got several wild hairy interrupts. Daughters two dogs made there first of the morning appearance.
Requiring my two new rescue cats to be safely placed back in a protected area. Priority! Let dogs out, now! Clean litter boxes. Dogs hesitate at the door.
One more wild hairy interrupt, 'Odo' my daughters Siamese rescue darts out the door, runs from me... Which gives daughter her own wild hairy interrupt,
not a good thing first thing in her morning...

09-May-2026 1400 A few thoughts on Ghosting.
This has nothing to do with The Holy Ghost as He will never Ghost someone.
The modern definition for Ghosting; is a colloquial term for the practice of suddenly ending all communication and avoiding contact with
another person without any apparent warning or explanation and ignoring any subsequent attempts to communicate.
This is a form of rejection that leaves someone wondering what happened. Honestly, I'd rather be yelled at and told to leave than be Ghosted.
If I get a message I will respond to it. PERIOD. I will at least sign off the contact with an acknowledgment and a statement that it
would be best if no further contact be made. Needless to say, if the communication is not identifiable, it may not be replied to, after all, I do get a lot of spam.
- Hebrews 13:16 says, "But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased." Here the Greek for Communicate is
koinonia - Which according The Complete Word Study means: to share in. Fellowship with, participation. As Paul says here, it is a Christian duty that at times
requires sacrifice.
- 1 Timothy 6:18 says, "That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;"
Here the Greek is Koinoneos - means: an associate, partaker. Communicative, social. Are we willing to fellowship, it is impossible to share if you are not
in communicative fellowship.
- Philippians 4:14 says, "Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction." Here the Greek is sugkoinoneo which means:
To participate in something with someone. to have in common. Obviously, this takes us a bit deeper in Christian Relationship.
- Galatians 6:6 "Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things." The Greek is, again, koinoneo.
Deuteronomy 19:15 "at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established." So, we've got a pretty good
indication that Communication needs to be added to a Christian's attributes. Yet, it is the one area where we simply do not shine. In fact, we simply avoid
actually really talking to one another whenever possible. And, to actually discuss doctrine... Anathema.
And, all too often it seems that if someone doesn't have something by which we can gain an advantage we simply don't have the time,
or perhaps we refuse to make the time to even acknowledge their attempts.
08-May-2026 0900 A chat with chatGPT on General Theology
I believe strongly in "Iron sharpens Iron". But, what I have found is that many church folk turn you off as soon as you don't say the exact
thing they are expecting with the exact theological phrases they hold dear. They are never willing to discuss things and that leaves a lot to be desired
for those of us who desire to grow in Christ as His Disciple. The things discussed are things I've learned in my 70+ years and I wanted to discuss them
with an entity that had access to a lot of information. This is one discussion, it will reveal a lot about me, and you may surprised by chat's answers.
Here's the link: A Theological Discussion with chatGPT Blue text is my query, pale green is me quoting chat.
08-May-2026 0700 From a reply I made on "X" about Rock Music
There was a post on "X" this morning about how the poster said that obama killed Rock Music, interesting post. He was making the point that the rebellion that Rock was
sounding off against couldn't be sung because they had everything they were complaining about in the office of the president supporting all their causes.
And, I thought that it was about that time that Christian Music started changing. Here's my reply: "
It also infiltrated Christian Music, now owned and DRM'd by mega corp's. The church gave up it's own rebellious rock music.
We used to sing about "Mighty Warrior" or The Lord is a "Warrior".
Now we shelter [or are we really cowering] in large sanctuaries having "christian" concerts singing about what God can do for us, and nothing about what God has called us to do.
Or, what God can do through us.
A Congregation learns (best guess) 90% of its Faith and Practice through the lyrics of the songs it sings.
We don't expect a God of Miracles or Deliverance, we don't believe prayer changes things and nobody is quoting Kathryn Kuhman, "God can [and will] do it again". Or, "I believe in miracles".
Here's the aforementioned post, if you're on "X": https://x.com/WallStreetApes/status/2052511949720789268
04-May-2026 1700 Now... What should I do, Lord?
All my life I've wanted to be a Pastor but, I was told that I could never be a minister unless I was filled with The Holy Spirit with evidence of Speaking in Tongues.
As ministry was what I felt, and still feel, I am called to I acquiesced and sought "Tongues", and that may have been my "Moses striking the Rock Twice" moment.
Granted I didn't have anyone to teach me any finer points. But I am convinced that I should have been seeking a deeper walk with The Holy Spirit, and allow Him to work from within.
Which He had already been doing.
But, I didn't... At every opportunity where I thought I'd be 'accepted' I've been rejected. Of course, it was probably as much with my total lack of a charismatic personality.
Note that charismatic wasn't capitalized. :) I believe that I grieved The Holy Spirit by effectively denying His place in my Life, yet He still let me have a demonstrable Prayer Language.
So now I sit and wonder, what next. He personally undertook and commanded me to go to the ER when I had a 'Widow Maker' and should have died.
That was over ten years ago and I still haven't been effective for Jesus. Not like before seeking Tongues. Of course, back then I was in Naval Tech School in Millington, TN
and under a pastor that fully empowered me to street witness and promised to fully back me, even go to jail with me if need be, as long as I was preaching Jesus. I've had one, may two,
good pastors since, but never one like Michael Pearl.
I even tried to plant a church in nearby Dawson. But the only place I could afford was downtown and couldn't get a permit to use it as a church.
Of course, if I had the personality that automatically drew people to me, we'd have been able to rent elsewhere.
So, I finally find a church I really liked, then my cardiologist changed my meds and I don’t think I'll ever be able to make the 1 hour drive one way again.
At least not with a safety margin. Maybe the C&MA will eventually try to plant a church here in Albany, Ga. But I have no reason to believe that they will.
There are so many churches here. Most have gone the way of Christian Concert and a 'Good Talk', with no Sunday School. Lots of modern "Form" but no power.
I am still Pentecostal at heart. At least the part where I love intimate Worship of The King I love, an opportunity to "Kiss Towards" my Lord.
And, of course brag on Him, about Him and generally revel in His Presence. That isn't something that can be ginned up.
You either come excited and expecting and lift your voices on the furnace of a heart in Love with Jesus or it's all just sounding brass and tickling cymbals to His ears.
I've seen the results when such a congregation that enthrones Jesus in their Praise. But those days seem so far in the past.
26-APR-2026 0713 Where I am at Theologically.
I was raised in The Assemblies of God, sought credentials in The Assemblies of God, my BFF is a pastor in The Church of God, Cleveland Tn.
So, I have a rather steeped in leaning towards Pentecost. Yet, over the years I have mellowed a bit after a lifetime of rejection, misunderstandings
and generally not having a 'charismatic personality'.
I now find myself more closely aligned with The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA).
As I still believe in all nine Manifestations of The Holy Spirit's work in Jehovah's church, I just feel more aligned with the quieter gifts and operations.
And, while the aforementioned Pentecostal denominations, still testify of all nine manifestations, they do not seen to allow for or understand
The Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge and Discerning of Spirits preferring loud disruptive behavior as proof of The holy Spirit's Presence.
Nor, do they appear to believe legitimate prophecy can be without fanfare or a 'thus saith the Lord!'
So, I would be very interested in being part of a C&MA church plant here in Albany, GA.
20-APR-2026 0713 Well it's been a while.
It's been almost two months since I last posted. And, a lot has happened. Some of which I cannot share at this time. I got permanently banned from Facebook.
which hit me a lot harder that I ever thought it could. Facebook is an institution that treats people, in my humble opinion, like easily disposable carrion. At
least that's how I feel. I may not have a Brick & Mortar ministry, but I am an ordained minister and without Facebook I no longer have a pulpit.
Then too, I am getting impatient with this Iran situation, especially the cease-fire.
While I am not a hawk I remember vividly that there are times when mercy and grace are not profitable as when Saul disobeyed Jehovah and spared Agag and many Amalekites.
It cost Saul the kingdom. A lot of Christians refuse to pray warfare prayers against evident evil and wickedness, saying that is not what the New Testament preaches.
Then, I want them to consider Ananias and Saphira, who the Apostle pronounced God's Judgment on and they dropped dead. No recourse, no apologies no real chance to repent.
But, that's a whole sermon in itself. The Islam practiced by the true believers in the IRGC is far worse than the Amalekites and Agag. If they would surrender,
perhaps then they could be reached with The Gospel. But, sadly they are a death cult that readily welcomes death for themselves and anyone that opposes them,
caring nothing even for their own citizens.
I believe that John 8:44 applies exactly to the members of the IRGC: "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.
He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own:
for he is a liar, and the father of it.
You will remember that at the beginning satan didn't outright lie to Eve but misrepresented what was said. Just as the IRGC has been,
and will continue to do until they are done. You cannot negotiate with entities that consider you infidels worthy of immediate death and whose very tenets
(Taqiyya) declares that lying is acceptable when dealing with Infidels (especially) when it will further the cause of Islam.
Our Lord and Savior, Jesus, is also known as The Captain of the Lord's Host, a military position for conquering and subduing enemies. Our Lord
IS
A Warrior, our Warrior, and we have made Him a candy-as___ wimp full of love, grace and mercy without Justice and the penalties thereof.
The Lord's coming discipline on the Western Church I believe is coming as the persecution known as, "The Beginning of Sorrows",
The love of many has already begun to be undeniable. And, represents a great falling away, from which no country can redeem itself.
Whether we like it or not we are at War in two realms, the physical and the Spiritual. And, I declare that had we been fighting as we should
in the Spiritual Realms, our fight in the natural would not be so real and prominent as to have come to open physical war. It is The Spirit that "leteth".
24-Feb-2026 1530 Started repopulating the web site Today.
So, I started working on the Articles that were originally on the site. This requires a large amount of rereading and fixing typos that sneaked through previously.
Close to my heart are the articles concerning Praise, Music and Worship which I believe is the key to True Revival.
I believe the modern church is missing out on so much because they have chosen Professional Concerts instead of seeking the Spirit of Our Living God, Jehovah.
For that reason, the next page set will be Praise, Music and Worship, which will no doubt anger quite a few caught up in the modern Praise and Worship Music scene.
15-Feb-2026 0800 What place does Prophecy and Prophets (so-called) have today.
I generally avoid discussions about modern day "prophets" and what they have to say. But, I was talking with my son last night and he mentioned something I really feel the need to share.
This one prophet apparently published a dream/vision well ahead of the attempt on President Trump in Butler. Pretty much exactly as it happened.
That's 'interesting' enough but, he's had a follow-on dream/vision recently. One that really got my interest up.
In this one the perpetrator is successful. With one caveat God's People must pray, really pray.
Why does this stir my heart with sadness? Because in 1998 I wrote a message, "What if He Tarries" begging for Revival
and then in 2010 I felt the need to write another message "The Need for Revival - Take Two".
It was the total lack of interest that finally crushed me enough to gut this site and basically give up. Now this…
Why do people go to church today? To exalt Jesus? To bask in His Manifest Presence? To exult in Him who is life Himself?
No!
People go to church today to party. To meet friends, not Jesus. To get all excited about the music, smoke, presentation graphics and light show.
It's generally a 'Christian' concert, with a motivational speaker giving a feel good message that does not generate any interest in becoming more Sanctified.
There is no desire for The Fire of God to fall and burn our chaff away, after all we are under Grace, God loves us, and He's our Friend.
He is also, "Captain of the Lord's Host" and "Lord of All Creation" having been given a Name above every other name rightfully Justified in expecting obedience and well capable of forcing it.
Look the church world has basically canonized Charlie Kirk, and nearly done so with President Trump.
They are *NOT* our Saviors! Jesus alone is!
We are about to lose the country! Does anyone care? You may believe it is all foretold in Prophecy but, what if the Church Age is a Parenthetical clause, and we can lengthen it,
reducing the souls that end up in a hell prepared for the devil and his angels, by being Sanctified, by being revived by inviting The Fire of God to come upon us and burn away our chaff?
I wish I could be more positive but, I believe The Lord's Discipline is coming and while everyone is looking for The Upper-Taker many will fall away because they only expect Blessing, no hardness and no Repentance.
When I said as much to my son, he stated that no one can beat US. My response was that we had won Vietnam, we had the North on the ropes and they were begging for concessions.
But, a poorly trained very nervous National Guardsman, with poor trigger discipline let off a round that started others shooting leaving "Four Dead In Ohio", and Nixon caved to the political pressure and gave the North
everything they wanted.
I was on Guam when we evacuated Vietnam. I saw the faces of the people who had lost their hope and their country. And, I see that coming to America,
*IF* the church doesn't get its priorities straight.
Nuff Said?
01-Feb-2026 1600 There is a difference between True Revival and a Concert Ginned up substitute.
I visited a church this morning and the lights were low and the music foreign. It struck me that I was at a concert and the platform was trying to gin up something, I am not sure what.
I reflected on being in revival many years ago and the stark difference between then and now. Between True Revival and whatever this is they are calling revival today.
Back then you couldn't have prevented people from exalting Jesus or exulting in Jesus. They came in praising and expecting Jesus to be there in tangible and manifest ways. And, He did.
I miss those days. I despair of the loss of those days and the way people are settling for such a manipulated surface level Worship 'experience'.
Isn't anyone else desperately hungry for the gently falling Fire of God, the Still Small Voice and The Manifest Presence of The Holy Spirit? I sure am.
26-Jan-2026 0500 What about Fasting?
I've encountered several groups and individuals promoting and doing a fast. I ask myself why, I ask them why.
But, I do not get any real reasons for their fast, only an implied strident encouragement that I do so as well.
Israel fasted pretty much for only two reasons, as a sign or repentance and contrition, and for protection and victory in battle.
Yes, fasting is talked about in the New Testament but, is it a commanded activity? Scripture and verse please, used in context.
Matthew 17:21, 'Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.' is often quoted, even bragged about as per Luke 18:12. Interestingly enough this phrase, "and fasting" does not appear in all ancient manuscripts.
And, because of this the "and fasting" and sometimes the whole scripture is omitted from some modern translations.
Matthew 17:21 is specific in the purpose of fasting, exorcism. I haven't seen any genuine instances of this practice among modern Pentecostals and Charismatics. Hence my questioning the modern practice.
(Side question: Can a Christian be demon possessed? I think not, but that's for another time...)
Mark 2:19-20 Is interesting. "And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.
But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days." What days were those, how long did they last? Please notice who those questioning a lack of fasting were.
We brag that He will never leave us or forsake us, do we believe it? Are we talking about His legal Presence or just His Manifest Presence?
From the time of His arrest until the The Day of Pentecost I am absolutely sure they were fasting, in mourning. Does The Holy Spirit count as His Presence?
And, never forget that even in Jesus' time while He was here teaching, He spoke of fasting not as a religious exercise but, as the inability to eat. For whatever reason.
Have I ever fasted? Yes. Once, under explicit invitation of The Holy Spirit because it was troubling to me that I was unable to do so amidst all the bragging and high pressure, and I was given hope and help.
I have something that can only be described as emotionally induced hypoglycemia, fasting makes me sick, faint and unable to function.
I am better now but, I seek The Holy Spirit's direction not bragging rights, and I dare not obtain or practice a "holier than thou" attitude against my brothers and sisters.
One final thought… Those of you who do practice fasting, when you do, do you do anything other than "prayer and fasting"?
I mean *if* you are going to do it right, shouldn't you be doing nothing but prayer while fasting?

Is it a Chore or is it a Task?
~~~Aw ~~~Man... I have to do the litter boxes... I have four cats and a kitten, lots of littered liter boxes. ~~~Aw ~~~Man... I have to unload the dish washer. Well it does make them more available.
~~~Aw ~~~Man... I have to load the dish washer. It is amazing how differently you approach the sink when it is empty.
So, is it a chore or a task? Attitude does make a difference, and it can affect how well the task is done and even how long it takes.
It could be a labor of love. Both for my cats and then for my daughter who is the one who tasked the empty sink.
A little change can make a big difference.
So, we finally got an outlet fixed that allowed us to move the Kuerig and Coffee Pot off our tiny kitchen counter into a corner of the dining room.
We aren't done yet, but it is nice not having to unplug one thing to use another. It also allowed us to set up the crock pot and have a great Sunday Dinner.
As well as an old Proctor-Silex mini-grill and, still have loads of counter space.
We are reclaiming our kitchen!
We were also able to clean off the stove and make breakfast, which hasn't been done since my wife passed four years ago.
All for a small electrical repair. *MORALE BOOST*
06-Jan-2026 1700 Comments on Foregiveness vs Remission
The other day I over heard a reading from a 'different' version of the Bible where it stated, '... and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.'
I was brought up short by the Spirit, because the KJV says it this way, '... and without shedding of blood is no remission.' What is wrong with 'forgiveness'?
The chief issue is that forgiveness has been used, er abused, and no longer truly portrays what The Blood of Jesus has done for us, the COMPLETE removal of the evidence of sin.
Hence, remission more properly intimates that concept. Today's churches tend to make grace without cost the way of the Word.
The Google AI says it this way:
Theologically,
forgiveness is the act of God ceasing to hold a sin against a person, releasing resentment (like the Greek aphiemi, meaning "to let go"), while remission (from Greek aphesis)
implies a more complete, active "sending away" or cancellation of the debt and penalty of sin, often linked to cleansing through Christ's blood or baptism, signifying removal from one's life,
not just pardon. Forgiveness focuses on the relational aspect (no longer holding it against someone), whereas remission emphasizes the transformative, judicial removal of the sin's power and
consequence, a deeper spiritual deliverance achieved through Jesus.
Forgiveness (Aphiemi)
Meaning: To release, let go, pardon, or send away.
Focus: Relational; God choosing not to hold your offense against you.
Analogy: A parent forgiving a child's mistake, stopping the anger but the memory remains.
Remission (Aphesis)
Meaning: A sending away, dismissal, release from debt, or cancellation.
Focus: Judicial/Experiential;
the actual taking away, washing out, or sending away of the sin and its guilt/penalty.
Analogy: Not just pardoning the debt,
but canceling the IOU entirely, making it as if it never existed.
Key Theological Distinction
Old Covenant: Sacrifices offered forgiveness (pardoned temporarily) but couldn't remit (take away) sin permanently.
New Covenant (Christ): Christ's blood provides both forgiveness and remission, actively taking the sin away and freeing believers from its bondage.
Process: Often, forgiveness is the initial act of pardon, while remission signifies the deeper, ongoing work of the Spirit removing the stain and power of sin,
often associated with baptism and new life in Christ.
In essence, you can be forgiven (pardoned) but still feel the effects or memory of sin; remission means the sin is sent away, removed from the ledger and the heart.
Note: Every time I redid the search I got different results. The above results are what I grew up with.
